About the Department
The Department of CSE (Cyber Security) features an industry-aligned curriculum developed in collaboration with Ernst & Young (E&Y) Global Delivery Services. This ensures that our students are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and in-demand skills relevant to the cybersecurity industry. Faculty members are also encouraged to undergo specialized training provided by E&Y, enabling them to deliver practical, cutting-edge content effectively within the curriculum.
Our program is designed to strengthen essential graduate attributes, preparing students for a wide range of career opportunities including security engineers, cryptographers, analysts, security architects, software developers, and cybersecurity consultants. The curriculum is continually enriched with inputs and updates from industry experts, ensuring students stay current with the latest trends, tools, and practices in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
Our curriculum offers a well-balanced blend of theoretical foundations and hands-on practical skills, encompassing key areas such as network security, vulnerability assessment, information security policies, governance, digital forensics, and ethical hacking.
Graduates of our program are well-equipped to pursue diverse career paths in the cybersecurity domain, including positions such as Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Officer, Technical IT Security Officer, and other emerging roles, aligning with the evolving demands of the future job market.
