Privacy Notice
The legacy site publishes no privacy policy; this page states only what this site actually does with information you give it.
What we collect
The site collects information only when you choose to send it through one of the enquiry forms:
- Contact form (/contact): your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message.
- Admissions enquiry (/admissions/enquiry): your name, email address, phone number (optional), an enquiry subject chosen from seven admissions topics, and your message.
- Recruiter enquiry (/placements/hire): your name, company, designation (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the roles and number of openings you are hiring for, the CTC range, drive timing (optional), a message (optional), and an optional job-description document (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 10 MB).
Nothing else on this site asks for or stores personal information. Browsing the site — reading pages, downloading calendars and documents — sends us nothing.
How submissions are stored
Form submissions are stored in the site's database as structured records — one record per submission, visible only to the SKCET team through the site's administration panel. Uploaded job-description documents are stored alongside their submission record on the site's own storage, outside public reach.
Records are kept only as long as the institution needs them to act on your enquiry. You may ask for a copy of an enquiry you submitted, or have it removed, at any time — see “Questions” below.
Submissions are rate-limited (five submissions per minute per address) to deter spam. Each form carries a hidden spam-trap field; submissions that fill it are discarded.
What we don't do
- No analytics or tracking is built into this rebuild — there is nothing to opt out of.
- Enquiry submissions are not used for marketing and are not shared with third parties; they go to the relevant SKCET team (admissions, placement cell, or general enquiries).
- Public downloads (academic calendars, library statistics, accreditation documents) require no account and no details.
Questions
If you want a copy of an enquiry you submitted, or want it removed, contact the institution through the contact page.
